Welcome to Tall Girl Studio. While I have been painting for over 20 years. I have been professionally painting for less than ten. As a child, I was lucky enough to travel around this country and others while with parents who showed me the beauty of Art and Nature. Because of this exposure; I just simply love to paint.
I am known for painting several types of genres; Portraits, Birds, Florals, and Nature and Coastal Landscapes. "Easily Bored", I love to be able to paint a woman's face one day and switch to the details of a Ponderosa Pine the next. Most of my work is in Acrylic Paint with fine details drawn in either India Ink or colored pencil. In 2022 I swapped coasts, moving from Oregon to the North Carolina Coast where I live happily with my husband and small brood of ill-behaved animals.
